Michael Katz, MD, MBA – Chairman, Founder
A pediatric anesthesiologist, Mike Katz is also a successful entrepreneur. After winning a Delaware State Senate seat in a solidly Republican district, Mike quickly became a progressive favorite with a reputation for quickly solving tough problems.
A New York “Super Lawyer” at Kleinberg, Kaplan in New York City, Jonathan Ain is an expert in corporate securities law and contract matters and a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
JoAnna J. Barnes
JoAnna J. Barnes lives in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. With legal experience including not-for-profit law and constitutional law, JoAnna has focused her energies and legal skills on community service and has been especially active on disability issues. She holds a B.A. and J.D. from Georgetown University.
A former Delaware Deputy Attorney General who began his career as a columnist for the Philadelphia Inquirer, Charles Durante is a Partner at Connolly Gallagher, LLP. Chuck serves in a leadership role for many charitable, educational and other civic organizations. He was the primary author of Delaware’s campaign finance law.

An operations and strategy consultant and political advisor, Jonathan has served as a senior advisor at USAID and as the Deputy White House Liaison to the Defense Department, both as a political appointee. He is a graduate of Harvard University and is working on a doctorate at the London School of Economics.
An accomplished data scientist and software engineer, Eric was the Targeting and Modeling lead for Obama for America and the Special Assistant to the Director of Operational Tests and Evaluation for the United States Department of Defense. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, he has more than twenty years of experience directing innovative data-driven programs.
Currently a professor at the George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs, Peter previously worked in the offices of Senator Ted Kennedy and at the United States Institute of Peace.
A talented entrepreneur, Nathaniel is the founder of NGP VAN, the leading political technology provider for Democratic campaigns and causes. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign. He is a graduate of Yale University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Previously, head of Industry for Democratic Elections at Google, Andrew formerly served as Chief of Staff for Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo. With a background in grassroots organizing, Andrew helped Democratic candidates win tough races for more than a decade.
Elected Chairman of the Delaware Democratic Party in June of 2017, Erik has been active in Delaware politics for over fifteen years. As Chairman, he is committed to fighting for working families in his state.
Tina Shah, MD MPH
Tina Shah is a physician and implementation scientist with a track record in transforming health systems to deliver high-quality, low-cost care. She was appointed by President Obama to serve as a White House Fellow and Special Assistant to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, where she set federal policy affecting over 1200 sites of care and nine million Veterans. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Critical Care, and has an MPH from Harvard.
Neal Bailly - Chief Technology Officer
Neal is a manager with 20+ years of experience at major media companies including Time Inc., where he was Technical Lead for Sports Illustrated and Golf. In addition to working for large digital publishers, Neal has helped many entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses achieve success by leveraging technology and creating custom solutions.
